Jamshid Yama Amiri

Jamshid Yama Amiri is an Afghan journalist and writer. He has worked with various private and government media organizations in Afghanistan and has a decade and a half of experience in journalism and media.
Amiri is founder and chief editor of Keshwar new agency. He has worked in Hashte Subh Daily.
Earlier, Amiri was the Chief Editor of Aghaz-e- taghir Magazine and Consultant at the Independent Administration Reform and Civil Services Commission of Afghanistan (IARCSC) for more than four years. Prior to that, he served as News Manager and News Editor at Mandegar Daily.
Amiri has studied Master’s of Law from the Islamic Azad University (2019) and a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kabul University in 2008. Amiri has written many books and articles that are available both in hard copy and online. He often writes commentaries on various political and social issues- specifically those related to the current situation in Afghanistan and the region.
