Mosharraf Zaidi

Mr. Mosharraf Zaidi is a public policy professional with over two decades of experience in helping leaders and organizations understand how to navigate complex political and economic environments. He has worked with the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (as principal advisor to the Foreign Minister).  His work with various development agencies (European, Danish, Canadian, UK, UN) has included law and justice reform, elections and democratic governance and state building. He has also worked on administrative reform in local governance, technology policy, higher education and capital markets reform.

He currently works at Tabadlab, a think tank and advisory services firm that he founded to tackle the most complex and interconnected policy challenges faced by leaders and decision makers, in the South and Central Asia region and beyond.

He writes a regular column for The News in Pakistan, and for the Arab News. His writing has also appeared in a variety of other publications including Foreign Policy, the Indian Express, and the New York Times. He is a frequent contributor to television and radio.
